Flugge receives an associate degree as a junior in high school

— Former Chickasha resident, Dylan Flugge, a high school junior at Transmountain High School in El Paso, Texas, graduated with honors on May 16, 2014 from El Paso Community College with an associate degree in science. Dylan graduated in the top five percent of his class. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa at the college, military child liaison for Transmountain High School, a member of student council and a volunteer for several organizations.

Dylan was nominated and attended the 2014 National Youth Leadership Forum: Careers in National Security - Diplomacy, Security and Defense, held in Washington, D.C. This is an Envision program that has served over 800,000 students in more than 145 countries. Dylan was one of four students to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider during the ceremony.

As a junior in high school, Dylan was accepted to the University of Texas, El Paso where he will pursue his bachelor degree in mechanical engineering while completing his senior year of high school at Transmountain High School where he will graduate in June, 2015.

Dylan is the son of Kari and Derek Robinson of El Paso and the grandson of Roy and Sharon Flugge of Chickasha.
