Local TEA party collecting items for victims

CHICKASHA — The Grady County TEA Party is collecting items for victims of the May 20 tornado. Items may be dropped off at the TEA Shack, 1102 S. 4th, Chickasha, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.  The First Baptist Church, Moore, is serving as a command post so make any monetary contributions to the First Baptist Church, Moore. 

Items needed include water, Gatorade, individual wrapped snacks, diapers, baby formula, baby wipes, work gloves, dog/cat food, toiletries, batteries (any size), flashlights, hand tools, large trash bags for clean-up, plastic totes, plastic bags, boxes, paper towels, toilet paper.

Items will be transported to Moore via a semi-truck if other groups need transportation for collected items.   For more information contact Joyce at 405.320.0028.
