Local rodeo looking for the best dressed

• Cowboy, cowgirl and rodeo clown, ages 3-12, sought •

Grady County Frontier Days Rodeo is looking for children ages 3-12 years to compete in the best dressed cowboy, cowgirl and rodeo clown contest.There is no entry fee. Trophies will be awarded for cowboy and cowgirl, and clown.

Participants will be judged on Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. at the Grady County Fairgrounds arena. Winners will be announced Friday, May 4 before the mutton bustin' competition at 7 p.m.The winners of the rodeo clown will get the chance to participate in the mutton bustin' Friday and Saturday night.

All contestants will be encouraged to participate in the parade on Saturday, May 5 at 11 a.m.. Following the parade, everyone is invited to the "kid's fun day" at the end of Chickasha Ave. by the train station. Free bouncers, pony rides and lots of fun activities will be available along with free hot dogs and drinks served until they run out.
