Business makes donation, issues challenge

Ellis Goodwin
The Express-Star

Todd Morris, owner of Todd's Muffler Shop on S. 3rd Street, donated a $200 check Thursday to the Angel Project. He challenges other businesses to do the same.

Shanna Rice, with Southwest Youth and Family Services, accepted the donation Thursday morning. She said the Angel Project ensures that local children receive Christmas presents.

The list of children in need is already up to 125, which is higher than average, Rice said. She expects more than 300 names to be on the list before the holidays arrive.

Morris said he saw an Angel Project add in The Express-Star and decided to donate.

"The kids are our future, and I challenge each business owner in Chickasha to make a donation," he said.

To adopt an "Angel," call 405-222-5437 or send your contribution to Angel Project, Southwest Youth and Family Services, P.O. Box 829, Chickasha, OK 73023.
