Spencer-Evans

To wed: August 3, 2013

— The engagement of Chelsea Spencer, daughter of David Spencer and the late Dr. Margaret “Peggy” Clark of Chickasha, to Dylan Evans, son of John R. and Sara Evans of Lebo, Kan. is announced by the bride's father.

The bride-to-be graduated from Chickasha High School in 2006 before graduating from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics in 2010. In 2012, Chelsea received another degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University.  Chelsea is currently employed by Geary County Schools, USD 475, at Spring Valley Elementary School where she will begin teaching fifth grade this August.

The prospective groom graduated from Lebo High School in 2004. He then went on to Kansas State University where he received two bachelors degrees in Animal Sciences and Industry and Food Science and Technology in 2009. In 2012, Dylan received his masters in Food Science from Kansas State University. Dylan is currently self-employed and is the owner of DWE Livestock.

The couple is planning a wedding on August 3, 2013 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan, Kan. where the couple will be living.
