Chickasha Police caught up with an alleged thief after seeing the suspect on a resident's surveillance footage of the alleged crime.

When a Chickasha man discovered several items missing from his carport and pickup, he checked his security camera for evidence.

The resident told Chickasha Police he saw a suspect in a blue shirt, red shorts and ball cap take a gas can and then reach into the bed of the reporting party's pickup and take a chainsaw. The suspect then allegedly put the items in his own vehicle, according to an incident report.

Chickasha Police watched the surveillance video and identified the suspect as Dalton Null. Null was arrested and transported to the Grady County Jail.

Null faces charges of burglary in the second degree, a felony.
