Get Reel with Wendy

— A Charlie Brown Christmas

It's Christmastime and Charlie Brown is depressed. He has done everything...sending out Christmas cards and all and he just can't seem to get into the spirit.

All of the other children are playing and laughing and enjoying the snow.  Linus even confronts him over his grim look on the 'most wonderful' season of the year.  He tells Charlie Brown that Lucy is probably right about him, "Of all the Charlie Brown's in the world, your the Charlie Browniest."

From his dog Snoopy to his baby sister, get 'wrapped up' in the lights and contests and presents from Santa.

Lucy gives Charlie Brown her 'pyschiatric' advice- directing the Christmas program.

This becomes a great struggle.  Even in this, he finds commercialism and little spirit.  Sent to find the perfect tree to sit center stage, he comes back with a scrawny twig-like tree.  All of the kids (and Snoopy) cry out in laughter.

In his outrage, Charlie Brown bursts!  "Isn't there anyone who can tell me what Christmas is all about?"

With that, can anyone tell me who takes the spotlight and reminds us all of the true meaning of Christmas...the Reason for the Season... ?

This is the trivia question for this week.  All correct answers will be put into a special drawing for a family 4-pack of tickets to Heritage Park Theatres. Answers can be submitted by email to; on the official ‘Get Reel with Wendy’ Facebook page or by calling or texting 405-201-2060 by noon on Friday, Dec. 24.

A name and valid phone number must accompany your guess.  This week's prize winner will be notified by telephone.
