Rush Springs
Church of Christ
The Rush Springs Church of Christ is planning to celebrate their one hundredth year in the community on November 29th.
They are encouraging all former members who have moved away to return for their centennial homecoming. Plans include a period of reports from members who have moved away and are working in Churches of Christ elsewhere.
This is planned for the Bible study time at 9:45 a.m. The regular morning assembly will be at 10:30 a.m. This will be a time to renew worshipping together as in the years gone by.
At the noon hour, there will be a meal prepared by the men of the church. Desserts will be prepared by the women. There will be a time for visiting, memories and plans for the future.
Clif Werhan, long time minister of the congregation, said, "As always, we encourage everyone to come and worship with us at this or any time, but we want to especially get the word out to all former members."
