CHICKASHA — Many argue the key to success in all aspects of life is planning. Lynn Bailey plans to push this notion forward. Financially at least.

As the new manager of Edward Jones in Chickasha Bailey has the opportunity provide our residents with sound financial knowledge.

"It's a great organization," he said. "I've been a client of their's for many years."

Bailey has spent the last 22 years as a commercial and agricultural lender in the banking industry and he said he jumped at the opportunity to apply his skill set to local residents.

"People always need help with saving for retirement," he said. "Now, I'll be able to have a local office where I can meet the financial needs of the Chickasha community."

Bailey said his branch will offer a wide range of services including investment, insurance decisions and tax information.

"There are a wide range of mutual funds out there are a very popular investment vehicle," he said.

The recent developments in the oil and gas industry will also help in these endeavors according to Bailey.

"It has provided many jobs for the Chickasha community," he said. "It especially helped to make up those lost in the manufacturing sector."
