An Amber man was killed this morning after he was struck by a train near Pocasset in what an Oklahoma Highway Patrol officer reports is an apparent suicide.

Sylve pleads guilty to knowingly transmitting HIV/AIDS virus
Chris Sylve, the man accused of knowingly transmitting the HIV/AIDS virus to two women, entered a plea of guilty today at the Grady County Courthouse.
Sylve also plead guilty to three counts of second degree rape of a minor. Sylve was sentenced to 15 years for each count of rape and five years for both counts of knowingly intending to transmit the HIV/AIDS virus.

The Chickasha Police Department arrested 19-year-old Chickasha resident Lorenz0 Alexander for shooting with intent to kill after receiving a shots fired call in the 1300 block of Henderson, according to a press release from CPD.

Firefighters from around the county responded to a call in Tuttle at 5 a.m. and found Grady's Pub and Grille in downtown ablaze.
Body found in Griffin addition identified
The body of a man found in the Griffin addition of Chickasha this morning around 7 a.m. has been identified as 83-year-old William Curry. Deputies found the body upon arriving at the scene and discovered Curry died from a single gunshot wound.
