Chief Williams resigns

Announcement ends 30-plus year career at Chickasha Police Department

CHICKASHA — Police Chief Lynn Williams addressed the Chickasha city council Monday to announce his retirement after more than 30 years with the Chickasha Police Department. Williams' last day with the police department will be Dec. 2. He will become an agent with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
