George "Bo" Bruce Rouse, Jr. made an appearance in Grady County District Court today and was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Danny Ray Franklin.
Franklin's body was discovered by his father Monday morning on the family land.
Authorities said earlier in the week that they believe Rouse may not have acted alone and the investigation is still ongoing.
Rouse is represented by attorney Al Hoch of the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System.
Bond was denied and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 21 at 9 a.m.
