• Details: Visit the Children’s Garden and make some plants and animals from paper!  Try your hand at this traditional art of Japanese paper-folding. $2-nonmember; Free for members.

Family Saturdays: Beautiful Bees

• Where: Myriad Botanical Garden Children’s Garden Pavilion

• Details: You might worry about a bee’s stinger when you see them coming your way, but did you know that without bees and honeybees we would be without many of the fruits we now enjoy? And we wouldn’t have all of that wonderful honey!  Join us for this special class all about bees and honey try your hand at making some of your own honeybutter. $3 members; Free for nonmembers.

Hand Spans in the Gardens

• Where: Myriad Botanical Gardens Children’s Garden Pavilion

• Details: Gardeners are always using their hands for measuring things. Come to the gardens and use your hands and rulers to estimate and measure the length of objects in the garden. $2-non-member; Free for members.
