• When: Oct. 17-19, rain or shine - outside event; Gates open at 7:30 a.m. daily, close at 8 p.m.

• Where: Grady County Fairgrounds

• Cost: Vendor spaces 10 x 30 - $50 each for all 3 days

• Details: come look for your hard to find auto parts, signs, cars, trucks, and much much more, ANYTHING auto related at the LARGEST SWAP MEET IN OKLAHOMA.

Cement Fall Festival

• When: Saturday, Oct. 19, starts at 12 noon

• Where: Fairgrounds

• Details: Starts at noon with a free hot dog feed, ends with street dance in the evening, featuring CrossFire Band. Free games, prizes and contests for kids & adults. Bluegrass music 3 p.m. Cement Community Assoc. benefit bean supper, 5 p.m.

Chisholm Trail Republican Women

• Speaker: Lesley March, Chief of the Victim Services Unit of the office of the Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma

Celebrate the Treasures of Education

Chickasha Public School Foundation annual gala

• When: Tuesday, Oct. 22, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

• Where: USAO Ballroom

• Details:  The evening will highlight public school “treasures” from students to teachers, in addition to providing guests a great night of entertainment. The gala will include a seated dinner, guest speaker, a silent and live auction, wine pull and raffle. All funds raised from this event will be used to improve the quality of education in the Chickasha Public Schools.
