Paint On Canvas workshop, January

• Where: Chickasha Public Library.

• Project: “A Red Cardinal in the Snow”

• When: Thursday, Jan. 31, 6-9 p.m.

• Details: Call Carrie Chavers at (405) 574-6689 to reserve your spot today. One can paint for $30, if you bring a friend it’s $25 each.  All supplies, canvas and paints are provided. Soft Drinks will be provided, but bring your own snack.  The painting will be pre-sketched on the canvas.  You can see the painting at, go to the January calendar.

“Lost and Found at LCT,”

a musical revue of songs from Broadway

• Sponsored by: The Friends of the Lawton Community Theatre

• When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1, 2, and 3. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8PM. Sunday matinee is at 2pm.

• Cost: Tickets are $22, $20 and $14.

Gospel Opry

A Valentine Like No Other

• When: Feb. 2, 3-6 p.m.

• Where: Chickasha Public Library

• Details: Bring the kids to customize Valentine’s gifts. There will be ready-made goodies to purchase or you can buy craft projects to make on-site including cards, picture frames, bracelets, necklaces. Ready-made goodies include cupcake, jellies, jewelry and candles.

GAZE, Teri Carr photo exhibit

• When: Saturday, Feb. 2, 6-10 p.m.

• Where: Oasis Studio & Gallery, 327 N 6th

• Details: The opening reception will be on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 6 pm – 10 pm. Come and enjoy food, wine and music by Arabesque. The work will be on display beginning January 29th through February 9th, 2013.
