Tai Chi Classes

Moving for Better Balance

• When: beginning June 4, 12 noon

• Where: St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall

• Details: Classes are for persons 45 and older.  Class sizes are limited so, come early for the first class to register and insure your place in the class. Participants will want to wear comfortable clothes and flat/low heel shoes (tennis shoes are an example).  Bring water to stay hydrated.  Contact Stepping Stones Alliance, Inc., 224-1210 to if you have any questions. Note:  There is no charge for classes, but we do accept donations.

Blanchard’s Summer Concert Series #1

• When:  June 6, 7 .m.

• Where: Lions Park, 400 blk of  SW 7th St., Blanchard

• Sponsored by: Blanchard Parks Dept.

• Details: The first of our Summer Concert Series concerts  begins with The Sound of Country band who has opened shows for Garth Brooks, Charlie Daniels, Ronnie Millsap, Jerry Lee, Mickey Gilly, Moe Bandy, Johnny Lee and on and on through the years. As of late they play the Casino circuit.
