Optimist Groundhog Pancake Day

• Cost: $5 each. Children under six eat free.

Love & Respect Workshop

• Sponsored by Trinity Church and Crossroads Community Church

• When: Feb. 7, 7-9 p.m.; Feb. 8, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

• Where: Trinity Church, 428 E. Almar Dr., Chickasha

• Details: This is a two day marriage enrichment workshop offered free of charge. Child care will be provided at no charge Friday and Saturday. Lunch will be provided, at no charge, on Saturday. There is an optional workbook that you may purchase for $13 per person.

• To preregister, please phone Pam Foster at Options Counseling Service, Inc., 405 222-3018. Preregistration is recommended, but not required.

CHS Pom Mini-Clinic

• When: Feb. 8 9 a.m. - 12 noon

• Where: CHS Activity Center

• Grades: Pre-K - 8th grade

• Cost: $30 includes poms, t-shirt, snack and certificate

All Day Music Fest

• When: Saturday, Feb.  8, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

• Where: Canadian Valley Technology Center, 1401 Michigan Avenue, Bldg.  200 in the Helen Ward Seminar Center

• Details: There will be Bluegrass, Gospel, Country, and Folk Music at Canadian Valley Technology Center, 1401 Michigan Avenue, Building 200 in the Helen Ward Seminar Center.  The doors will open at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and doughnuts and will start with a jamming session until 10:30 a.m.  Musical groups will be scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Bring a finger food and enjoy music and singing.  All ages are welcome, and the admission is by donations to pay for the refreshments.
