CAAC meeting

Details: Major agenda items include a discussion of the 2010 Cemetery Tour, a report of the 2009 RIAF, plans for upcoming CAAC-sponsored workshops and discussion of CAAC's updated website. Cost: $65 Test Fee; $40 Retest Fee. Everyone is required to call and reserve a testing date. A rescheduling fee of $25 will be added for those failing to give 24 hours cancellation notice.

Veterans Day Program & Meal
What: A Veterans Memorial and Meal is planned for Nov. 11.
When & Where: The memorial will be at 11 a.m. in Shannon Springs Park. The meal will be at 1 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on Country Club Road.
Details: Veterans and their spouses will eat free. Non-veterans will be charged $6 each to eat.

Lions Club music show
What: The Plummer Family Country Music Show.
When: Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 PM
Where: Chickasha High School Activity Center auditorium.
Details: Join us for a great evening of fun and family entertainment with the phenomenal Plummer Family of Branson, Missouri. This talented all-star cast of performers features traditional country & gospel music combined with outrageous comedy fun. The show is laced with zany comedy, jokes and silly stories. The Plummer Family performance in Chickasha is co-sponsored by Haystack Productions and the Chickasha Lions Club.

UMC annual Fall Festival

Details: There will be a viewer's choice award for a favorite quilt exhibit, and a viewer's choice award for the special exhibit quilt which is "wedding ring" quilts this year. The Churndasher Quilt Guild will also have a drawing for a raffle quilt at the close of the show, which will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
