Anthonys celebrate 60th anniversary

— The children of Ray and Frances Anthony, Ninnekah, would like to invite all life-long friends and family to attend the 60th wedding anniversary celebration to be held in their honor on Sunday, Aug. 4 at the Ninnekah First Baptist Church from two until four p.m. The couple requests no gifts, please.

Frances Lea Davis and Boyd "Ray" Anthony were united in marriage on Aug. 2, 1953. They have resided in the Ninnekah area most of their 60 years together. Ray has enjoyed farming wheat and alfalfa, raising Beefmaster cattle, and serving as a REC board member. Frances is a retired school teacher, former school board member of the Ninnekah Public School system, and also helps out on the farm. Her hobby is oil painting of which she has done hundreds in number including westerns, portraits, and still life. Ray's hobbies are his dogs, Jack and Pretty Girl, who are treated much like family.

They are the parents of Loxie Chapman, Bobbi Fuchs, Boyd Anthony, Jr. , and Bruce and Leah Anthony; grandparents of 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild including Brandon and Brooke Dunn, Oaige, Zac, Brittany, Collin and Paris; Jeremy and Sabrina Dunn, Abbi, Abri and Beau; Chris and Lori Dunn, twins Cameron and Hunter, Braxton and Kopen; Angel (Dunn) Curtis, Jackson and Jacy; Kaleb and Kallee Dunn, Kendyll and Kapp; Clint Birchell, Kadence and twins Kylee and Kolton; Tami (Birchell) and Keith Prater; Lesi Ray, Dayzi, Zan and Addi Jo; Trevor and Kaila Anthony and Deven; Hayden Anthony; Salem Anthony; and Cainan Anthony.
