CHICKASHA — Chuck and Janis Larsen, of Blanchard, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on May 21st.

Janis is the daughter of Betty Lindsey Shuller of Springfield, MO and Roger Lindsey of Scottsdale, Ariz.. She graduated from Gainesville High School in Gainesville, MO. and is the Food Service Manager at Canadian Valley Technology Center. Chuck and Janis were first introduced by Chuck's neighbor Sharlene. She knew Chuck was the perfect man for her niece, Janis.  Sharlene's matchmaking skills were a success and a long distance relationship began between Janis, who was living in Springfield, MO at the time, and Chuck in Yukon, OK.

On May 21, 1988, at a private family setting in Yukon, Charles H. Larsen Jr. married Janis Marie Lindsey.  They made their family home in Yukon, OK, and later relocated to Blanchard, OK in 1993.

Chuck and Janis have volunteered their time toward youth sports in the Chickasha and Blanchard area for many years. They enjoy spending time with their three children, Jennifer Parr of Springfield, MO, Tamara Alexander of Durant, OK, and David Larsen of Blanchard, OK. They are also proud grandparents to Tyson Alexander of Durant, and the family is growing!

Over the years, the Larsens have maintained their relationship through good communication, compromise, and forgiveness. Integrity has been the force behind their commitment that gives it lasting value.
